Our Story

Founded by Claire Alter and Jennifer Madden in 2020, SUNSET & CO. (formerly Alter Madden Interiors & Styling) has grown to a team of five bright, creative women united by a shared passion for crafting beautiful, livable interiors and stunning gifts.

Whether designing a gift, a residential home or a “home to imagine,” such as a commercial Display Suite, we take great pride in delivering unforgettable moments and transforming spaces with thoughtful, inspired styling that reflects both beauty and purpose.

After our first five years of offering full-service interior design, we have recognized a growing demand for accessible and impactful staging and styling—transformations that elevate a space without the cost or headache of a major renovation.

In addition to being passionate about creating beautiful spaces, gifting holds a special place in our hearts. As more people asked where they could buy our curated styling pieces, we saw an opportunity to share our love for design - in a new way - and our B2B Gifting arm, an elevated gifting service for businesses, was born.

Just like we do for styling and staging, we create gifts based on your goals, budget and recipients. Each gift is thoughtfully curated, always stylish and offers a blend of home goods and locally sourced treats.
